There isn’t much more we can say about this area except that it is climbing and bouldering heaven. The granite is sharp as a razor, which actually leads to better friction on the rock. There are numerous hiking trails in the area and an abundance of camping spots and designated campgrounds.

Vedauwoo is a great place to spend at least a weekend or two each summer. If you are interested in bouldering at Vedauwoo, check out David Bagdonas’ book, Vedauwoo Bouldering.  Although most of the bouldering involves slicing your hands up on granite, there are a couple of sandstone locations in the area.  Our favorite is the Schoolyard area.
