Celebrate the longest days of the year with a visit to Roosevelt Lakes in the Mount Evans Wilderness Area. If you live in Park County, JeffCo, or Denver, it’s a relatively short drive to hiking paradise.
Red Rock Canyon Open Space and adjacent Section 16 are the best of the best. There are numerous hiking options for all levels of hikers. You can’t beat the amazing views of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Red Rock Canyon also offers some superb climbing with a permit.
